The act itself is oppisite in mating in that the male starts slow (looking for anyone) and then speeds up. Female cats (like most female animals) often experience orgasims while sleeping. Hmm, I wonder what they're dreaming about... Big cats mate in various positions and places. They have been documented mating in trees, in lakes, through cages, in the missionary position, among others. The average big cat (tiger/lion) penis is about seven inches but can easily reach upto ten inches. The penis is covered in barbs and when mating the male experiences a sensation of the penis pushing against itself with every thrust. This casues a powerful sensation as the swelling penis is pressed agaisnt harder and harder. Average testicle size for a male tiger is slightly bigger than golf-balls. An average male puma ejaculates 1/8 a cup of sperm. Cougars: penis size is about 3-5 inches (6 for the big boys, but usually 3.7 inches). Testicle size is about the size of a walnut. House cat: penis size is vary small, testicle about the size of a marble. During courtship the female lion gets VERY playful. She'll rub against the males testicles. She'll gently bite and lick the testicles too. Sperm collection among big cats is an interesting subject. In china, tiger sperm is collected during check ups, but a new method is being used with "dummy" females. A stuffed tiger is mounted by a male and the sperm is then collected later off or out off the stuffed 'friend'. One facility claimed to use a 'human substatue' where a human kneels before the male tiger and allows the cat to ejaculate . The sperm is collected from clothes or a container. In Africa cheetah sperm is collected while the cat eats (hmmm, the path to any male's heart is his stomach I guess).
Captive tigers and wild tigers are equally gentle (or ungentle as the case may be) unless the captive one has suffered a psychological trama. Don't let this disrupt you. Tigers (and all big cats may be ferocious, but their trust is unbreaking. A bond formed with a big cat is strong and deep. More to come !!!
