| The rules for the #VCL
chatroom is simple and follows one simple ideal.
Respect
For the most part, the room is pretty lax and laid back on house rules.
The majority of the people in the room are artists and that is the major
theme. Art in general, art critiques, or just gum flapping about anything
and everything as well. and along with the occasional light roleplay is
ok.
Please leave your angst at the door. This room is not a place for you
to get your kicks when it comes to the pity of others, and any gratuitious
angst is not welcomed here. We all have our own lives to deal with, and
we don't need to worry about your angst.
If you have any issues or questions please contact one of the room OPs
at the time via PM. Do not drag issues out into the public eye if you
do not need to and be respectful in your requests.
Things that will get you Banned on the spot.
- Disrespecting other users in the room
- Sexual harrasement
- Posting links or talk of pedophilia
Common sense is not so common. I'll have to lay out a few simple guidelines
and no-no's.
- Respect each other. no persistent name calling
or talking bad about someone who is in the room or even out of the room.
if you want to rant on someone. please go somewhere else. I know that
sometimes passions run high and name calling happens, it happens and
is unavoidable. What I want to cut down is underhanded and malicious
backstabbing.
- Respect the Artists. Artists are not machines, we are people too,
so please don't ask everyone on the room to draw a request for you.
many of them are already busy with their own obligations. Now there
is nothing wrong with the usual request made and that is perfectly dandy.
Just don't ask (or spam) every artist in the room to draw for you and
expect a yes.. if they say no. it means no.
- Sexual Harassment. the lest tolerable of
offences. Keep in mind that this is not a
public yiff chartroom, do not drag the others into it. don't constantly
hit on everyone in the room in the hopes for sexual chats, and if they
turn you down, don't pressure any more, because that is sexual harassment.
and on the same note: if you ask for a yiffy request, and they turn
it down. Please don't hound them until they give in. its bad form. Vice-Versa,
you do not draw yiffy art of other characters without their concent.
Thats cause for immedieate action, and you will be banned.
- No posting of URL links or talk of pedophilia.
violators will be Banned on the spot.
- Violent Rolepaly, it is just not tolerated. If you want to get out
all your frustrations, do it somewhere else, and not in here. Abuse,
vore, gore or power play against someone else is not allowed here.
- Slander and slander based on sexual preference or slander on someone
else's religious beliefs, someone's gender or on one's character is
also looked down upon. and repeated abuse will get you kicked out.
- No modifying the room. IE: Removing Bans, setting bans, changeing
modes. if you have an issue. please message PatRavenWulf with your questions.
- Respect the copyrights of the artists. if you are known to be a reposter
or a theif of furry artwork, it would be in your best interest to not
be in the room.Please leave your angst at the door. This room is not
a place for you to get your kicks when it comes to the pity of others,
and any gratuitious angst is not welcomed here. We all have our own
lives to deal with, and we don't need to worry about your angst.
