Sonar Range II

There was a dolphin and a dragon,
and the dolphin said,
I'll always be faithful and be true.
But when the big storm came,
the dragon chose his own way,
and never they did meet each other again.

But then the dragon flew down to the stormy clouds,
and this is what he screamed to the sky:
I thought I could always be near you,
though I could always be there,
but now I am so far, far away.

Hey, can't you see,
that I am still deeply in love with you,
Hey can't you see,
all I ever dreamed of was you.

And as the dragon cried into sleep each night,
he dreamed of his dolphin below the storm,
and of the promises he had given him
and of the wonderful life he told of.

But as the thunder growled deeply
and clouds blocked the sea,
Hope seemed to be so very far away.
for a doubtful dragon in a very wide sky
with only lightning as a guiding shine.

(and the dragon cried)

I thought I could always love you,
thought I always could be there,
but I am so far away.
Never will the storm be over,
Oh god I miss you so,
but you so far away.

And every night the dragon cried
until the storm was at last over
And the sea glittered in sun's light,
but there was no dolphin in the depths down there anymore.
And as he would never forget,
a tear silently dropped to the sea below.
I'll always love you,
But now it is too late.
