single hostname	tired of memorizing dozens of hostnames, one for every little service? no problem: 'tigress.com' does it all for you. No matter which of the services you use
single account	one for ftp, one for mail, one for ssh? No! just one account with one password suits all!
web-space	maybe the most important; uploading by ftp with your personal account; 10MB normally is the maximum; ask for more if you want to offer something special; easiest accessing through the member-page
mailbox	or is mail the most important? who wants to decide? polling by POP3 and sending through SMTP with 'smtp after pop' authentication. That means your IP address is allowed to use smtp some minutes after you polled your mail. If you have nothing to poll, don't worry: just do a dummy poll. The server won't care.
web-mail	on the road again? no mail client to use POP3? ok, no problem. Click here. Webmail by NOCC is the solution. Also nice to delete a spam mail you don't want to poll.
ssh	changing password on the ssh-console using the passwd command
NO telnet	yap, not providing telnet is a service, because its nothing but a huge security hole and that might affect the other services we want to provide (no comment about the security of POP3 and FTP... we are working on it)
ftp	use it to upload your pages, images and stuff you want to share with others through the WWW
