The searchable link list allows you to easily find all the URLs the tigress knows. That includes internal links of services we provide or organizations that use tigress as a service provider and it includes external links to URLs we think they might be interesting or usefull to you.

The easiest we is just typing some words you know about what you are searching for, e.g. type 'mail' if you want some info about tigress' webmailer or type 'irc' for infos about the furry chatting network

Additionally you can use the shortcuts listed below. We tagged most of the links with one or more categories. Here is a list of the categories:

furry: furry/animal related; of course the biggest group ;)
info: tigress' informational pages about various things
nic: domain registries; interesting for all that want to get an own domain or need info about an existing one; contact us if you have decided so we can help you get it
searcher: search engines; there is more than google ;)
service: organizations and groups that use tigress to present their pages
standards: pages of organizations that provide, organize and spread official standards of science, information technologies and telecommunication; interesting to all that want to know exactly how the real world is defined
new: links that are lately added to this link database; the 20 newest ones, orderd with the latest on top
user: pages for tigress members and furs that want to become one; (hopefully) everything you need to know about using tigress for your homepage, as mail-server and all the other stuff we provide

And you can restrict your search to different types. Normally 'text' will do, but sometimes you want to restrict it to something else, or just try 'any':

url: space separated substrings in the URL (the link)
text: space separated substrings in the shown text
type: space separated types of links (searcher, domain, furry, info and some others); this is mainly used for fixed lists
any: a fixed string in any of the fields
lucky guess: the result page is the first search result
domains only: the results are only URLs with no path or filename

Yes, and we lately added the feature to jump directly to the first hit. This feature is usefull if you are quite sure there is only one hit and you just don't know the URL. Some browsers allow you to define some personal search engines. This string defines one in 'konqueror'

If you configure this string with 'tig' and then type 'tig:quot' in konqueror it jumps directly to the homepage of furnet-quotes.

And know just try anything you like with the link database. You can't break anything (I hope ;) ). Have fun.
